I am currently the soccer coach for our school. We have 7th and 8th graders playing on our team. These students have missed the last 2 years of a soccer season. They are so excited to be out on the field for an extracurricular activity. However, we only have 3 soccer balls that are not damaged. We have made do with what we have, but it has not been ideal and has made a full and regular practice unachievable. I am so proud of these kids for their resilience these last few years. They deserve to have a regular season and to have equipment that actually works with them, not against them.
