I use a ukulele when teaching and singing with my students and they are always so intrigued by it! At the end of each class, I usually spend the last five minutes or so letting each student strum my ukulele (while disinfecting it in between each student). They always ask me if we will ever be able to learn the ukulele in music class. I am starting this project in the hope of obtaining a class set of ukuleles. Class sizes can be quite large at my school, with the average class containing about 25 students. I am hopeful that I can get this project fully funded so that my students will be able to explore the ukulele and build their musicianship!
