The materials I am asking for are technology to be specifically used by the student during our sessions. Because all of my students are in their grade level class(es), I move from school to school; this is called itinerant services as I move throughout the district to see the students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Since I do not have a set location to see every one of my students, I tend to bring whatever I need. I try to bring useful tools, but I feel that I lack something very important. Technology is at the hands of all students; however, school is a place that they can learn to use this technology in order to benefit themselves. The donations to this project will be used by the students to improve their knowledge of technology in order to equip themselves with the tools to be successful. Having this specific type of technology will allow my students to branch out from their usual educational shell and be able to communicate in ways they have never been able to communicate before!
