The project I would like to get funded will enable me to provide a calming and comfortable reading space for my students. The multicultural rug will create an inviting space for readers. Leveled readers will be placed in color coded and labeled bins for ease of use. By creating this calming and comfortable reading space students will be eager to increase their reading fluency and knowledge of various genres and levels in reading. The "Stay Calm and Read On" space will allow students to not only become familiar with different levels of reading, but can help students with organization skills and a feeling of pride while helping to keep our classroom library organized and kept.
