I have 20 students for the last year who will resume with our Video and Music Podcast and Production Club, The Roughrider Bunch. We started producing our own school podcast dealing with local, State, and National issues; music and podcast production at West Side was established to shine a light on social and interschool issues while inspiring the next generation of leaders to create artistic content to promote a more just and peaceful world. We have and will continue would like to be the change we want to see! My classes work with fellow teachers on service learning the many acts of kindness sponsored and supported by the club in partnership with our Community Engagement Office to address Hunger and Homelessness in the West Ward of Newark. As a result of these efforts of creativity, we took on the challenge of establishing a music and podcast club which will be its own club this school year and this MacBook will help me develop my students into first-rate student producers.
