I love to use Teachers Pay Teachers to help me when I'm trying to diversify my lessons. They have seemingly endless options for inspiration, use in the classroom and materials that I can use to help teach myself better ways to explain concepts. Not every child learns the same way, so I like to have a variety of ways to explain a concept! From worksheets to virtual field trips we can find hundreds of ways to touch, see, learn about and experience history. In my classroom I have learners of all kinds and we learn best not only through writing and hearing but also through doing. Using games and experiences other teachers have created helps us gain new perspectives.
