My students love to play educational games on their iPads such as Lexia and Dreambox. These apps help me provide individual support to students, as the games monitor their reading and math levels, and target activities to them that address their needs. Right now, my students have been unable to use these apps because they involve auditory instructions (and 1st graders are pre-readers). Only a handful of my students own headphones and can bring them into the classroom. I would love to have a set of classroom headphones so that every student can engage in these educational games during class!
