The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will enhance their learning environment. As a first-year teacher, I am working on growing our collection of classroom materials and toys to help my students develop the necessary early learning skills they will need to transition to kindergarten. The cube chairs that I have requested will be used on our circle time rug to help the students understand their boundaries, and to increase overall attention and engagement with whole-group activities. I have selected materials and activities that the students will be able to access, so that they will continue to make progress in each of the developmental domains. The early years ball toss and the sit and spin are gross motor activities that we will use on the playground and in the classroom. The color sorting kit, fish counters, Don’t Let the Bugs Fall Game, and shape sorting bucket can be used for developing fine motor and early math skills. I have requested several supplies that will be used to meet the students’ sensory needs, such as the foam sensory paint, yoga balls, water bead shapes, and the squeezy farm animals. These materials will help meet me the needs of all students! By making a donation to our class project, you will help to increase overall student engagement and attention by helping our classroom gain fun and meaningful activities/supplies that will make learning more exciting. I cannot turn this project into a reality on my own, so thank you in advance for your support. My students and I appreciate it so much!
