I am requesting a bookstand and resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. Encouraging a love of reading through books is imperative in second grade. My students absolutely LOVE reading, and are constantly asking to look at the books we read in class. I don't any kind of bookshelf that allows me to display these books for student use while also making sure they are safe and protected. I keep all of our read aloud books in a cabinet, so I can ensure they don't get lost. This book shelf will allow students to easily come up and choose the book they'd like to read, and I will be able to monitor which books are being used by students. It will expand their choice of books to read independently, providing so many more options than what is currently in my student library. Keeping students engaged during instruction is crucial to student learning. The huge variety of resources provided by Teachers Pay Teachers is absolutely incredible. It allows me to differentiate activities and provide practice and supports to my diverse population of students, including English learners and students with disabilities. TpT resources also allow me to offer both digital and print resources for students, reaching all types of learners. Teachers Pay Teachers has been an a life saver for my students and me, and I cannot express enough how much it has helped me with my past few years of teaching. Both of these resources will greatly support student engagement throughout the year, and can be used repeatedly for future classes. I appreciate your consideration in advance, as do my kiddos - you will be making the sweetest, most gentle and well-deserving souls very happy!
