Our school focuses on Project Based learning. My students have had a lot of technology over the past couple years and I would really like to do a deep dive into a paper novel with them. This book is a tried and true winner with middle school students and I would love to get them hooked on reading! With the common book, we will be able to have deep class discussions on disability, bullying and different family units. We will also dig deeper by adding written assignments that will require reflection.
