Construction play materials like Legos, KEVA planks, PowerClix, and K'Nex function as powerful learning tools! They strengthen spatial reasoning and cognitive flexibility, enhance language development, promote creative problem solving, and encourage cooperative play which help students learn social skills! All the while, also creating engineers and mathematicians! The communication students engage in while working on these builds is something special. The pride seen and felt when a student is showing off their creation is like nothing else. Joy, laughter, and FUN will be brought into our classroom with these donations, and I think we can all benefit from that :)

About my class
