This project allows me to help students to reset their emotions, get them talking about their emotions and how they can better regulate their emotions. Through restorative practices students will learn better ways to regulate their own emotions ands actions in class so that they are more successful in the classroom. Students will receive one on one and/or small group support with me to discuss ways to self regulate as well as create a plan to monitor their own emotions during the school day. Students can use strategies learned at home to help them regulate emotions at home. This learning will allow students to communicate their emotions across different environments which in turn helps them be able to learn better during the school day.
