My students are in desperate need of books. They have access to a small library on campus, but they need more options in the classroom and in their homes. If I can provide them with fictional and non-fictional materials, then they will have the capacity to make better choices about their futures. Books will allow them to read, to learn, to grow, and to become better writers and thinkers. My classroom is filled with students who want to do better for themselves, but simply need the support from the schools they attend. That means that I am the direct impact. My class must provide any and all essential tools for my students to feel that they can and will succeed in this country.

About my class
