Each item I have asked for will be used in the classroom and outdoor play area to encourage more interaction from those students that have special needs in the area of sensory processing disorders. To be able to touch and feel different textures will help students desensitize texture. Every year I have more and more students that require assistance in the area of sensory exploration. With the help of occupational therapy I am creating a sensory center. Your donation will make it possible to achieve the Sensory Experience in my classroom. I can not wait to see each child's face light up when they see the new items they get to play with!
