Having resources to enrich literacy will allow my students the chance to relate to inclusive texts, discover interests, and continue to grow a bigger love for reading! I would love to investigate National Geographic texts to help students gather a better understanding of Non-Fiction, as well as inclusive texts that will help students gather a better understanding of culture. I would love to provide all sorts of books so that my students can grow as a reader and choose books to encourage independent reading. By receiving a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I will purchase anchor charts, literacy posters, and materials to enhance student participation in their literacy development. By receiving a variety of texts, I would be able to help my students find a variety of genres and interests within my own classroom library. Students need the ability to read and encourage each other to read daily. By finding relatable and interesting texts, students will be more passionate about reading and have an enriched literacy experience in the classroom.
