This will be my first year teaching P.E and Health for K-8. My students have not had a gym teacher in over a year because of couple of situations. All I want is to give as much as I can to my kids because I love them. However, resources are extremely low. There are barely any equipment for these kiddos to have a rich experience in gym. I want to give them everything yet money is the issue. The materials I chose will benefit my students by opening their eyes to the large world of health and sports that will enrich their life. Many kids are not expose to different sports like gymnastic. I want to change this! I would love to teach a unit on gymnastic skills. Not only does this benefit the body but the mind. learning what your body is capable gives that confidences boost that can make a kids day extra special. I want to be able to provide that for my students. These kids have gone though so much in the past year I just want to give them an outlet in the world.
