When students are hungry, they are unable to focus their attention on learning new information and then store it to draw upon previously learned information which will promote an active learning style. Active learners help to build a community by inspiring change and evolution of thought. We teach about community involvement and socialization in hopes of not only changing our local area, villages and cities, but also our state, country and world. Reducing hunger of children is one vital step via providing access to snacks to feed a growing mind.

About my class
