I teach 2nd grade at a Title 1 school in Frederick, MD. I absolutely love my job. The best part is seeing pure joy in my kids’ eyes when something finally clicks. I’m not just a teacher; to my students I’m a mom, confidante, disciplinarian, guide, friend, cultural advocate, and cheerleader. I’m their biggest supporter. They rely on me for comfort, academic and emotional support. To my administration, I’m a behavior management guru, logistics manager, drill sergeant, classroom work foreman, data entry expert, as well as analyst. In order to provide my students with the best possible classroom experience, I need to spend already limited funds. I intend to spend whatever gift card granted to Teachers Pay Teachers on flexible resources to accommodate all learners. All of the learning resources I've chosen are materials for my classroom that allotments do not cover like, flexible seating, library books, prize box items, online teaching resources, headphones, cordless mice, etc. I sincerely appreciate your consideration. ☺️ Melissa Geroux
