As of August 2021, all students have returned to school five days per week. As the only speech pathologist, I work with students for various amounts of time throughout each day. Games, artwork, and cleaning between groups is a must to help each child stay safe and have fun while learning pragmatics and articulation during a pandemic. Sometimes we sit in chairs, on the floor, or outside depending on the size and needs of each group. Although we learn in small groups, many students have visual and tactile needs to must accompany what they hear in order to improve their communication skills.
