In a digital instant world, craftsmen like potters are few and far between. I want to help start a pottery/ceramic revival with my students working with local potters in our community. Giving the students and community a place to work and create together helps build relationships that will last a life time. Using the creations will be used in a number of ways including fundraiser for feeding the hungry by paying to create a bowl (Bowl FULL of Love) to help feed the hungry pulls a community together to work for a common goal. This kiln will help us be able to cover our art standards but it will also do so much more than just teach a standard. It can change lives.
