This list is a combination of my own requests and things my kids have identified as classroom needs/wants. The books were selected based on student interest and alignment to future units, the organization supplies are there to help me collect, grade, & file student work in an orderly way, and the clipboards and related supplies are for some specific in-class activities. As for the non-academic items, the rotating fans are probably the most requested thing (the summer heat in Hawai'i doesn't really go away), and the mini basketball and other random things are to improve the general environment/ease the back-to-classroom transition. Finally, the red carpet is for assessment day/special occasion morale - I want to roll that out by the entrance door for test days, essay sharing days, etc. Each donation will earn a coveted "Thank you to _____ for being an F2 legend" sign hung up on the wall.
