When learning how to use microscopes, students typically experience a lot of trial and error. In addition, it is challenging to ensure every student has gained an understanding in what needed to be accomplished with their microscope. A digital microscope would allow me to project an image from the microscope onto the board, allowing me to demonstrate how to properly achieve a focused image before students try on their own. This would allow for students to learn how to use microscopes in more depth and faster, encouraging students to engage in more independent exploration and investigation.
