We will use this equipment on a daily basis as a way to build wrist strength and speed as well as learning basic snare techniques and rhythm reading. These Practice pads and Stands will get my young percussionist off to the right start. By having proper equipment they learn the correct technique from day 1. Our percussion class is full of eager non-percussionist whose families cannot shoulder the expense of a quality practice pad and stand for practice. The ultimate goal of this course is to have these enthusiastic musicians fully integrated into our other performing ensembles by next school year.
