Often children need time to relax and reflect on the challenges that are facing them during the day as they are in the academic learning environment. This center will give them a place to sit comfortably to quiet and reengage. The bean bags and accessories create a place to focus and relax. Supporting students' Social and Emotional Learning is vital to fostering overall academic, emotional, and social success. This project is designed to help support the whole student. When students have a safe place they can reflect, they can return to the academic setting with greater clarity and believe that they can achieve. This need is even greater post school shutdowns.

About my class
