Students in my Health Science class learn the importance of proper hand hygiene and how it applies to working in a healthcare setting. Proper hand washing technique is part of my curriculum. I can validate their skills, but I can’t actually show them if their technique is washing away the germs. By using the Glo Germ activity, the students will actually be able to see the effectiveness of their hand washing practices and be able to learn new hand hygiene habits to help prevent the spread of infection and keep their patients and themselves safe.

About my class
