At my school, printers are not available to the teachers. Teachers are expected to provide and fund their classrooms printing needs. This includes a printer, paper, and, ink. As a first-year teacher, with thirty-three students, I do not have the funds to supply the materials necessary to my students. In my classroom, we use three to four worksheets daily in all areas of our learning: math, writing, reading, science, and social studies. I believe that providing worksheets among other materials helps support their learning and is necessary for their success. In this new age of technology, I try to provide access to handheld materials as much as possible.
