These materials will be used in the classroom to give students a way to demonstrate their math understanding. Our current whiteboard is a shower board from Home Depot that we use as a makeshift whiteboard. We would be very grateful to get a full-sized whiteboard. We would also be grateful to have privacy shields as our space is limited and having the shields will help us concentrate on our deskspace even when others are close by. The other supplies will be used every day to keep our learning space as productive as possible. My goal is to send as many aspiring mathematicians into the world as possible. With your help, I can better reach my goal. I believe that the world is full of young people who get down on themselves and their math abilities, stifling their growth. I know that anyone can learn and improve. I show my students that the right attitude and approach can completely change the trajectory of their academic career and could quite possibly turn them into future great mathematicians.
