The tools I need for my students are for making learning more engaging and exciting! These materials will provide students the ability to focus their minds on their learning while keeping their bodies engaged in activities. They will also provide my students with disabilities more accessible ways to engage in their education. Tools such as fidget cubes, play doh, and chair bands help students to remain focused on their learning while engaging their bodies. Reading strips can help students focus on small parts of a text at a time and help to improve their reading comprehension skills. A timer to help students visualize their time and create better time-management and self-regulation skills. I have also included requests for a pencil sharpener that has the ability to sharpen the triangular pencils that are more helpful for students with dysgraphia, a dual monitor to be able to support my students online as well as in person, and inspirational posters to make my classroom more welcoming to students of all abilities. My classroom gives students the accessibility tools they need to be successful students with an environment they can thrive in.
