Our students with autism often struggle with their fine motor skills making using technology difficult. That is why we are hoping to replace some of our aging and inoperable iPads with new tablets that can be used to download educational programs that our students need but have difficulty using when on a regular computer or Chromebook. Repetition is key with our students, and with touchscreen technology they are able to use programs independently that allow for that skill practice and repetition. While our current iPads are not able to download new programs or update existing programs, new tablets will allow our students to use up to date educational programs to enhance their learning in literacy and math.

About my class
