We have had a string program at my school for over a decade. It has enhanced the lives of students who have chosen to explore instrumental music. However, there are a significant number of students in my school who would like to explore their creativity through a wind or percussion instrument and don't have that outlet. I would like to provide that outlet to students. Many students also come to our school who have prior experience with percussion instruments or wind instruments, and they aren't able to continue learning their craft. While the parents in our school are supportive of the arts, it can be difficult for some of our parents to rent or purchase instruments for their children. By donating to our project, you will be helping students express themselves creatively in ways that aren't currently available to them. You will be helping students to explore an art form that could change their lives, or at the very least, provide them with a sense of joy. Overall, thanks to your help, I will be able to reach a larger segment of the student population by providing a more diverse choice of instruments for them to explore. Since music makes you smarter, this will benefit our students in a plethora of ways.
