The classroom cubbies will be used to help students foster independence and promote autonomy. They will be used daily to build on organizational skills, which will play out in all areas of life, whether they are at home or at school. Students will feel a sense of belonging with their very own space to store personal items. I thrive to create a student-centered environment where children learn to take pride in our classroom. They will understand that keeping our space tidy is a community effort and working together is essential in making our day run smoothly. In addition, having separate compartments to store personal items is especially important now during the pandemic!

About my class
