The basic school supplies, such as the colored pencils, crayons, and markers will allow students to color-code their science journals if they want, as well as use coloring materials for any activities or labs that require them. The various building materials, such as the BrainFlakes and Plus-Plus blocks will be used for STEM bins, where students will have different building problems they must solve using only the materials in the bin. Students will create bridges, vehicles, buildings, as well as mathematical figures when they use the STEM bins. The REPTIZOO terrarium tank and the ZOOMED lighting will be used for our STEM lab pet, which was obtained through the Pets in the Classroom Grant. This terrarium is the perfect size for a full-grown bearded dragon, and will allow students to view, discover, and learn about this live animal.
