This year, we will be starting the school year off with in school learning; however, therapy services will be provided virtually. These items will allow me to effortlessly share activities, visuals, and materials with my students. The monitor, monitor stand, laptop riser and wireless remote will provide me with the tools required to deliver my lessons efficiently. Using a second monitor will allow me to view the students without having to toggle back and forth between screens. This will help me observe students more closely during classroom activities and when targeting individual goals, such as correct production of specific speech sounds. I will be able to ensure that all of students are on screen and engaged.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me acquire beneficial virtual lessons to use with my students. This organization is composed of teacher created materials for use with students. My students particularly enjoy theme based materials which are available on Teachers Pay Teachers.
The laminator will allow me to make visuals for my students to be used in the classroom and during virtual sessions, such as visual stories, 1-2-3 boards and “first…then” boards. These tools are essential in assisting my students to learn and to transition from one activity to the next.
