Students in a Special education setting require individualized materials in order to make the learning process as attainable as possible. Dimmed lighting in the classroom, wheelchair-accessible furniture, items that set the tone for a predictable schedule, sensory tools, and learning materials that are meaningful and engaging to children all help to support students in a Special Education setting.
