The supplies requested are to start off our journey in the classroom. As a first year teacher, I want my students to have fun, participate in different activities and have a variety of options to choose from. Many of these materials and supplies will help us build our classroom together and get us ready for all the fun work and projects that we'll be completing throughout our time together. Aprons, stamps, dot dot markers, magnet tiles, and instruments are all materials I want to familiarize my students with as they explore different hobbies, talents and subjects. Working with students with special needs, making the classroom accessible for them is also a priority, which is where the bins, velcro, laminators and timer come into play. All students have different learning needs, having the access and opportunity to all of these materials will help us work with each and everyone of our students and help them reach their goals.
