Do you remember playing recorders in elementary school music class? Well, due to the pandemic we cannot play recorders in school (because there is too much spit involved!). I would love to be able to continue to put instruments in my students hands and swap the recorder for Ukuleles! Music educators have found that playing the Ukulele stimulates cognitive development, improves fine motor skills and has far less spit involved than playing recorders! By playing the Ukulele students will experience new social experiences as they practice and play music in groups and for performances! All of the students in my school will benefit from learning music through the Ukulele!
