It is recommended that a person walks 10,000 steps a day. A new treadmill can make this happen for students at Student Achievement Center. Each person can walk at his/her own pace, keep track of mileage and work to achieve those recommended steps. A new treadmill will be an asset to the physical education department. It gives the students an opportunity to record calories burned and mileage walked. Recording statistics can also show student weekly progress. It would also help to promote social distancing that is now required within the school setting. There is no set-up required and very easy to use for the beginner to the marathon runner. Thank you
