Students learn best through play! Rather than reinforcing reading and math skills with paper and pencil seat work, these literacy and math centers are fun and engaging. In addition, project based learning is something I love to incorporate as much as possible in my classroom especially in Science and Social Studies. Students would complete research projects and produce a visual aid such as model rockets and ovens as part of their STEAM integration. It takes time to print and prep/gather all these materials, but watching my students learn through tailored centers activities and project based learning is prieceless!
