I am a new 3rd grade teacher hired just days before school started. Unfortunately, I inherited a classroom that is without books, and my students are in desperate need of a classroom library. I work at a low income school where most of my students do not have access to books. Unfortunately, our school library is shared with the middle school and high school so access is limited. I want to build a classroom library so my students are surrounded by great books all day long, and they don't have to wait until library day to get a new one.
