My classroom loves to eat. What better way to encourage learning and working together than through a Fun Friday cooking club. Our cooking club will give the boys and girls a chance to use reading, math, science, and social skills while having fun learning about food and then tasting what they make. My school is unable to provide the necessary appliances that are needed to cook in the classroom. I am requesting funds to purchase a compact refrigerator and toaster oven to start our club. Cooking as a class will help strengthen our community through positive behavior. We will have fun while practicing so many skills. To complete the feel of community I also requested chef aprons/hats.
