My students are avid readers! With this being said, I want to give them a space where they can comfortably enjoy a new book. Everyday, we have 20 minutes dedicated to just reading. This is a time for my students to get lost in a good book. My students need a welcoming area that encourages them to read! The new rug and pillows will allow students to have a comfortable spot to sit and read a book. The book buckets will allow us to keep our library organized and neat. Finally the timer will allow me to set a countdown for students to refer to and let them know how much more time we have to read!
