I am requesting chair bouncy bands, floor seats and beanbag seats. No two children learn in the same way, so why do we expect them to sit in the same way to do their learning?? Providing my class with these flexible seating options will give my students autonomy and allow them to figure out how and where they learn best in a safe and constructive way. Research shows that flexible seating increases effectiveness of class time and students’ attitude toward learning in general. We learn better when we are comfortable. Help me to turn our classroom into a homier, more creative learning environment!
