My students love to read but struggle to find diverse books to read and sometimes can’t afford to buy their own. I want to encourage a love of reading where students can read about people like them. This project will help students read stories about people like them. They’ll read stories about kids going through similar life situations as them. By giving them more diverse books, they’ll want to read more. The more they read, the better my students will do in the classroom and on their assignments. These books will also let them see how other kids around the world live.
