Morning bins are a great way for my first graders to start their day. My students will use STEM tools, like building blocks, puzzles, brain flakes, and brain teasers to activate their creativity. The morning bins will give students the opportunity to collaborate and plan, develop social skills and oral language, and use critical thinking and problem solving skills. Beginning their day with exploration and engaging activities will prime their brains for a full day of learning. This play, like learning, is crucial for the development of these young minds.
