Once students hit middle school they often give up on reading. Manga supplies a means to keep them reading. My Hero Academia is specifically about a student who does not have what the other students have (superpowers called quirks). When a mentor gives the protagonist a quirk, the protagonist must then go to school to learn how to use it. The series My Hero Academia demonstrates to students that school does not have to a boring place, but creates "superpowers" like being able to read and learning to write. I have volumes 1-20 and need the rest to complete the series.
