Each week in class we will read the Scholastic News magazines to stay up-to-date with current events. The magazines offer a fun way to provide the students with kid-friendly lessons that are written on their level. This along with the colorful pictures in the magazines makes it very interesting to the students and they look forward to when we get to read them in class. Scholastic really does a great job of making relevant content for the different age groups and I look forward to using both the print & digital component with my class. Also, I am looking forward to using the Science Spin that comes once a month to help teach some of the science standards. With the help of DonorsChoose, I am hoping to make this become a reality when this project is funded!
