Often in class we create posters to bring awareness to certain current topics in science. Students learn best when bringing equations to life and color coded flow charts work wonders. The marker and colored pencil set will allow for students to do this without bringing materials from home (lower socioeconomic population). As a new teacher, I hope to cover my classroom walls with informational posters to inspire students to check them out! The poster set would be a great start to transition through as I change subjects throughout the year.
