The students at my school cannot afford to buy the equipment necessary to participate in yearbook and student council, but they are extremely interested in helping out with school activities and the school yearbook. They want to be able to express themselves artistically while supporting their fellow classmates. After almost 18 months out of school, it is essential for my students to be able to express themselves in a way that will excite them and motivate them to stay in school. Students who have the opportunity to be involved in this way will have a better idea of what they will enjoy in the future and it will give them the chance to showcase their talents. Let's help to encourage students' passions while teaching them about giving back to their community.
