I'm in a new classroom this year and haven't been accustomed to having my classroom serve as a food pantry. However, when I arrived, I found three boxes of granola boxes from before the pandemic in a closet. I decided they were still okay to get and left a box by the door for students to take as they pleased. They vanished quickly. What I found is that they really, really need nutritional support in the classroom to keep them focused on learning. Thanks for making it possible for them to do so!

About my class
