Having science materials in the classroom allows students to conduct experiments themselves instead of relying on videos of others completing it so that they feel confident in themselves to apply the science concepts. Students have asked for opportunities to complete experiments and I have not been able to provide those experiences in the past because we did not have the tools we needed. The products that I have selected for my project include everything students need to explore science in a practical way and that helps them expand their learning. These materials will be incredibly helpful to help my students get engaged and feel like they're learning something new in the classroom. These items can be used again and again and are built for the standards that my students are supposed to be learning throughout the year.
